Leaky Gut and Heart Problems

How does Leaky Gut create heart problems?

It's been a long held belief that a little bit of wine is good for the body, but a significant study in 2014 says otherwise. After following 80,000 Swedish citizens over a ten year period and noting their drinking habits, this study indicates that even in moderation, alcohol may be hard on your heart. In fact, having as little as one or two alcoholic drinks each day may increase your risk for atrial fibrillation (Afib).

"The most common abnormal heart rhythm, Afib causes symptoms including lack of energy, dizziness, shortness of breath, heart palpitations and chest pain."

The findings are worth noting for people with Afib as well as those without the condition, says cardiologist Bruce Wilkoff, MD (who did not take part in the study). “What’s different about this study is that more modest amounts of alcohol intake seem to also correlate with developing atrial fibrillation,” Dr. Wilkoff says.
So, what does Alcohol have to do with Leaky Gut and why are we talking about it here?

Yeast Overgrowth elevates Blood Alcohol

One of the primary causes of increased permeability in the gut is the overgrowth of candida yeast that normally lives in limited numbers in all of the mucous membranes of the body. When one or more of 8 risk factors are ignited, this opportunistic yeast takes over the membrane. And wherever yeast and a supply of sugars are present, you get alcohol...without ever touching a glass to your lips.

Pounding heart case study

One of my earliest clients was a young man who'd been treated with erythromyacin for several weeks to combat cambio-bactor infection and dengi fever he contracted on a trip to China. His mother reported, "After this treatment, our son’s health just did not return to normal. He began having strange symptoms like dizziness, fatigue, pounding or racing heart rate and bowel problems like constipation alternating with diarrhea.
"After 3 days on Reboot Leaky Gut Protocol he saw improvement as far as less dizzy. He felt better each day and within a week the pounding heart symptom was also gone. Exodus seems to be making things more regular. And he can feel the Body Balance at work. He’s ready to turn in his Prilosec that he bought at Walmart before we started doing this, in exchange for more Reboot! He’s taking Glutamine with Body Balance morning and night. We’re gratefully encouraged and still working on making healthy meals. I’m doing it with him and it has helped some hip pain that I’ve had." -- M. Hatch, Lindon UT
So, drinking alcohol, or simply manufacturing your own with the help of Candida can definitely mess with your heartbeat. Your microbiome's balance is that important.
